KR INVITES PUBLIC TO DISCUSS PROPOSED RAILWAY BILL 2019

Kenya Railways has scheduled a series of public forums around the country in the near future following development of the Draft Kenya Railways Bill 2019. The Bill proposes separation of the policy making, infrastructure development, management, operations, safety and economic regulation functions.

The public forums are scheduled to take place as outlined below:

  • Nairobi on May 8, 2019 at the Railway Training Institute in South B
  • Machakos, Kitui & Makueni Counties on May 10, 2019 at Machakos University
  • Nakuru, Baringo, Narok, Nyandarua Counties on May 14, 2018 at the Rift Valley Institute of Technology
  • Eldoret,  Uasin Gishu,Nandi, Trans Nzoia, West Pokot and Turkana Counties on May 15, 2018 at County Hall in Uasin Gishu
  • Kisii, Nyamira & Migori C
